Role Description The Purchasing Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role supports the purchasing and procurement team with day-to-day activities such as preparing and processing purchase orders, updating and maintaining purchasing records, and coordinating with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. The Purchasing Assistant will track order status, resolve basic discrepancies, and help ensure timely replenishment of inventory for IT and security-related products. The position will also involve working closely with internal departments to clarify requirements, support cost-effective purchasing decisions, and assist with general administrative tasks related to procurement.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and general purchasing practices.
  • Experience in SAP, Excel, Inventory Planning, import processes, and landed cost-analysis
  • Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and managing purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles and basic supplier relationship management.
  • Effective communication skills for working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in distribution, IT, or security solutions industries is beneficial.
  • Professional work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.
