This position is remote, allowing flexibility to create a work schedule that best meets both client and personal needs. While primarily working from home, regular coordination with your treatment team will be facilitated through virtual platforms to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in client care. As part of a large healthcare network, you will engage in regular virtual meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and emerging therapies.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations to assess and document clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources, ensuring thorough understanding of their background and current situations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate actionable goals and tailored interventions designed for each client's unique needs.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, actively assessing risks and implementing safety plans to protect clients in distress.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, creating an inclusive environment where clients can share experiences and support each other in their recovery journeys.

Our clinic serves a diverse population of children and adolescents, as well as adults dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues. You will be working with clients from various backgrounds, dealing with nuanced challenges. Our approach is client-centered, emphasizing empathy and active collaboration to facilitate recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient treatment setting.
• Strong familiarity with a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and approaches relevant to client care.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills that foster meaningful connections with clients.

While not strictly required, candidates with experience in detoxification settings or substance use disorder treatment will have a competitive edge.
