This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients. You'll be equipped with the necessary tools, including a secure video conferencing platform that complies with HIPAA regulations, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions efficiently and safely. While you primarily engage with clients virtually, the organization emphasizes professional collaboration and may facilitate occasional team meetings for training and support.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs, developing detailed and individualized treatment plans based on precise diagnoses.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to offer individual, group, and family therapy aimed at addressing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.
• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
• Provide crisis intervention support in situations where clients experience acute psychological distress, utilizing your clinical expertise to stabilize their condition effectively.
• Engage in proactive community outreach initiatives tailored to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help, thereby enhancing community well-being.

You will work with a diverse client population, including adults, families, and children from varying cultural, socio-economic, and ethnic backgrounds. This role emphasizes cultural competence, requiring you to approach each case with sensitivity and an understanding of individual experiences, which is vital for effective engagement and support.

• Possession of an active, independent license such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for strong therapeutic alliances with clients and fostering a supportive environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cultural competence and a commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain organized documentation and manage time effectively in an effort to support clinical best practices and adherence to treatment standards.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a strong preference for those who have worked with outpatient therapy.
• Experience with telehealth practices and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or mental health education initiatives is highly desirable.
