A Work From Home Power Line Inspector remotely assesses power lines and infrastructure using satellite imagery, drones, or other digital tools. They analyze images for damage, vegetation interference, or other potential hazards that could affect power distribution. Inspectors typically work with utility companies or contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and prevent outages. This role requires knowledge of electrical systems, mapping software, and sometimes certifications in power line inspection or related fields.
A typical day for a Work From Home Power Line Inspector involves reviewing scheduled inspection assignments, analyzing high-resolution images or video data (often collected by field crews or drones), and preparing detailed digital reports of your findings.
