About Button
Button is looking to support a government client undertaking a significant digital transformation initiative to modernize its information management systems and business processes. As part of this initiative, you'll help migrate and/or modernize legacy applications, develop enterprise web solutions, and support the migration to SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technologies, including the Power Platform.

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in enterprise application development. You'll work in an Agile development environment, leveraging Oracle database development, ASP.NET/C#, JavaScript, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies to design, build, test, and deliver secure, scalable business applications.

You'll be a self-driven developer who is comfortable gathering requirements with minimal direction, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, producing clear technical documentation, and supporting end-user communications and knowledge transfer throughout migration and implementation activities.
This role is remote but the candidate is required to be physically in Canada and work on Pacific Standard Time.

Required Experience

This role requires a minimum of five years of experience developing enterprise web applications backed by Oracle databases (Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c, or 21c), including PL/SQL programming. Candidates should have hands-on experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting database-driven applications, along with a proven track record delivering complex enterprise software projects. This includes multi-tier applications, system integrations, mission-critical environments, large-scale enterprise or government initiatives, solutions supporting large user communities, and projects involving security, compliance, or other sensitive operational requirements.

Candidates should also have demonstrated experience with:

Application Development

  • Designing and developing enterprise web applications using ASP.NET/C# and JavaScript.
  • Modern full-stack web development using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and RESTful API development and integration.

Microsoft Technologies

  • Developing and migrating SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online.
  • Designing and customizing SharePoint sites using JSON.
  • Developing applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Development Tools & Methodologies

  • Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS).
