Job description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based telespeech services, located in Greenville, AL. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students in grades 3 through 5, within elementary and middle school settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language pathology services via telepractice to students aged 8-11,
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 35 students,
  • Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs),
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress,
  • Adhering to state and federal guidelines related to special education and speech therapy.

Qualifications sought for this position:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist,
  • Experience with telespeech services in a school environment,
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development in children aged 8 to 11,
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records,
