Job description

About Suno
We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfillment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.
Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it's incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.
Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).
Founded in 2023 by Harvard alumni with a shared passion for music, Suno has quickly grown to 200 employees while empowering more than 100 million people to create original songs. In 2026, we raised a $400 million Series D at a $5.4 billion valuation to continue building innovative products that amplify creativity and imagination.
About the Role
Suno's growth runs on paid social, and paid social runs on creative. This is a hands-on motion design role for someone who builds motion that stops the scroll on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You'll take our brand team's polished motion and rework it into performance-native ad variants, and you'll build original motion from scratch for paid: kinetic type, animated text and captions, logo, product, and UI motion, the pieces that carry a hook when there's no live footage.
This is a craft role with real creative latitude. You won't be handed a finished board and told to render it. You'll bring your own ideas for how motion can earn attention and drive a click, then move fast to test, iterate, and find what wins. Great work here is measured by performance, and you'll see the results of your work quickly enough to act on them.
If you live in After Effects, think in hooks and hold rates as much as keyframes, and want your motion in front of a massive global audience within days, this one is for you.

What You'll Do
  • Rework the brand team's motion into performance-native ad variants for Meta and TikTok.
  • Build original motion from scratch for paid: kinetic type, animated captions, logo, product, and UI motion.
  • Design motion that carries the hook in the first second, especially where there's no live footage.
  • Produce multiple iterations of winning concepts to feed continuous creative testing.
  • Adapt motion across formats and placements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) for Stories, Reels, and Feed.
  • Bring original concepts and angles to the table, not just execute against a board.
  • Hold brand coherence while pushing what actually works for performance.
  • Turn performance signals into sharper motion, doubling down on what's working.

What You'll Need
  • A strong portfolio of motion built for short-form video ads on Meta and/or TikTok, or comparable performance work.
  • Senior-level command of Adobe After Effects, plus Premiere for assembly and CapCut for fast cuts.
  • A real grasp of direct-response creative: hooks, angles, pacing, and why motion wins or loses, not just how it looks.
  • Proven ability to produce a high volume of variants at pace without dropping quality.
  • A proactive, self-directed working style. You spot what's missing and bring ideas without being asked.
  • Comfort extending an existing brand system while building net-new motion for performance.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience at a consumer subscription app, a growth agency running paid social, or a DTC/ecommerce brand.
  • Comfort reading performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, and CTR, and adjusting creative accordingly.
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma for prepping and adapting assets.
  • Comfort folding AI tools into a motion workflow to move faster.
  • A love of music and an eye for culture.

Compensation
This is a contract role paying $70 to $90 per hour, depending on experience, at roughly 20 to 40 hours per week.
Additional Notes
Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
