About the Role

The Business Development Manager, Club Sales for Precor China is responsible for developing, managing and growing strategic customer relationships of Indoor cycling (STAGES) business opportunities. This role focuses on driving long-term business growth by understanding customer needs, delivering value-added solutions and ensuring an exceptional customer experience of winning STAGES opportunities and delivering sales results.

You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and expanding indoor cycling category business to scale our market share. This role is ideal for a sales leader who has experience in the fitness/indoor cycling industry and can think strategically and positively, uses their initiative, is willing to make an impact, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic key accounts/customers to achieve STAGES sales and profitability targets.
  • Develops and maintains a clear and actionable business plan, outlining activities, time allocation, and consistent processes to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Creates budgeting and sales forecasting process.
  • Maintain accurate account records, sales pipeline updates in SFDC.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top existing indoor cycling operators such as Super Monkey, Lefit, Savage and seek for further STAGES sales.
  • Understand customer's business objectives and identify opportunities to expand partnerships;
  • Lead commercial discussions, including proposals, contract negotiations, pricing
  • Coordinate with internal club sales team to implement STAGES solutions and maximize account value.
  • Coordinate with internal functional team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Follows up on all sales leads and customer inquiries in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
  • Prepares and presents sales proposals and tenders, including price quotations, credit terms, delivery, service, and leasing options.
  • Implement joint key account strategies with partners to develop incremental business within key markets
  • Successfully delivers forecasted sales and profitability in line with agreed targets.
  • Collect and analyze market data, monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to support business strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of B2B selling or business development in a Fitness environment.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and cycling industry expertise.
  • Willingness to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of both Precor & competitor's products and services
  • Master's degree in business administration or related fields
  • Multi-lingual - English and one other language
