HTS Classification Specialist

Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, is a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting network of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

HTS Classification Specialist ensures compliance with regional and local export and import control laws and regulations concerning HTS classification requirements for cross-border product movement, and data, software and technology transfers to foreign persons, to protect Arrow from fines, penalties and publicity resulting from violations, and to promote revenue generation through defined customer/supplier support.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as a liaison among several internal groups across Arrow businesses in an effort to ensure proper adherence to trade control laws and regulations.
  • Support the supply chain with providing them suitable HTS code both for export and import.
  • Provide classification support for inbound and outbound transactions. The position also provides occasional support for projects related to global trade management and trade compliance operations.
  • All responsibilities are performed in accordance with established Arrow policy, processes and procedures.
