Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique goals, addressing personal, emotional, and psychological challenges.
• Offer individual therapy sessions to adult clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Provide teletherapy via secure digital platforms, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort during virtual sessions.
• Deliver timely crisis intervention services when necessary, equipping clients with coping strategies and resources to manage acute situations.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development sessions to stay current with evolving best practices and industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors primarily work with adult clients facing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. By focusing on individual strengths and fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, our counselors enhance clients' self-efficacy in managing their mental health.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid and active professional license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport and trust with clients.
• a compassionate, empathetic demeanor, combined with an unwavering non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences.
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently and ensure timely documentation.
• A clean disciplinary record with no history of sanctions or misconduct.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within telehealth settings, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and support strategies.
