Job description

Commercial Industrial Building Inspector – Texas
Twining Consulting is looking for an ICC Combination Residential Industrialized Buildings and/or Modular Inspector. This role involves inspecting fabricated units for manufactured buildings at client locations. Inspection work will take place across Texas and nearby areas. Qualified candidates should be able to support client needs while ensuring technical and administrative requirements are completed accurately.
Job Duties:
  • Perform field inspections and audits within the scope requested by the client.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports electronically.
  • Provide technical support to clients as needed, including assistance with Listings, HUD programs, Modular programs, and related services.
  • Conduct audits when required.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding applicable requirements.
  • Perform product listing inspections.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction, code enforcement, ICC codes, or building materials.
  • Must be able to work remotely from a home office.
  • Willing to travel by car up to 75% of the work week, with occasional air travel as needed for client inspection assignments.
  • Minimum qualifications include ICC Residential Building (B1), Electrical (E1), Plumbing (P1), and Mechanical (M1) Inspector Certifications, or the ability to obtain them within a short timeframe.
  • Must have computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, and prospective clients.
