The .NET Software Engineer/Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET framework. The successful candidate will integrate software solutions with Oracle databases, support production environments, and drive data quality. The engineer will work collaboratively in an agile scrum environment, contributing to deployment automation, documentation, and supporting testing activities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using the .NET framework

Implement IIS best practices to support scalable, secure web application infrastructure

Develop and maintain integrations between .NET applications and Oracle databases, including database objects such as stored procedures, functions, and triggers

Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support application and system integrations

Support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to data quality initiatives

Participate in automated deployment processes and assist with building and maintaining deployment scripts and documentation (including Ansible)

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Nexus to enable reliable software delivery

Integrate applications with security tools and authentication solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) technologies such as OKTA and CyberArk

Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards throughout the development lifecycle

Collaborate in an agile scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while working closely with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams

Assist with technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Active DoD Secret Clearance required

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a .NET Software Engineer, Developer, or related role

Strong experience developing web applications using .NET (including ASP.NET, Web API, or modern .NET Core/.NET frameworks) and IIS

Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or NestJS)

Experience integrating applications with Oracle databases, including development of stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers

Experience with database tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, or SQL Server Management Studio

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Nexus

Experience with Git-based version control and agile tools such as Jira

Exposure to deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible) or willingness to learn

Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to work within NIST security guidelines

Experience integrating with authentication and security platforms such as OKTA or CyberArk

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional agile teams

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or related .NET certification

Oracle Database or SQL-related certifications
