Utilizing telehealth technologies, you will deliver high-quality counseling services via video conferencing tools, phone calls, and secure messaging. • Conduct initial interviews and comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and establish baseline mental health statuses.
• Regularly evaluate and document client progress by synthesizing bio-psychosocial data from clients, families, and relevant professionals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health and addiction therapy.
• Utilize a variety of counseling techniques to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ unique circumstances.
• Maintain an awareness of industry standards and advancements related to chemical dependency and mental health treatment modalities.
• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care approaches that meet our clients' diverse needs.
• Provide client education on coping strategies, addiction recovery, and mental health wellness.

Our client base consists of individuals from various backgrounds struggling with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. This role is particularly focused on clients seeking recovery from chemical dependency, allowing you to work hands-on with clients who require empathy and understanding. You'll be tasked with creating a connection that feels both nurturing and empowering as clients face their challenges.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Valid and current licensure in the state of Washington as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated understanding and competency in dealing with diverse populations and mental health treatment methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective therapy and documentation.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to the ethical standards of practice.

• At least two years of experience in therapeutic settings, with emphasis on addiction and mental health treatment.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and their practical applications in counseling.
• Awareness of local resources and support systems available for clients within the Pullman, Washington area.
