Blue Horizon Psychotherapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our esteemed outpatient team. This position is remote, allowing you to provide mental health counseling from the comfort of your home while playing a vital role in our client's journey towards improved mental wellness.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and strategies for self-care.
  • Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans to ensure they align with evolving needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated and holistic care for patients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorder treatments and innovative therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
