Position Overview

Blue Horizon Psychotherapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our esteemed outpatient team. Work Environment

Our remote work environment offers flexibility while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere among colleagues. You'll have the opportunity to engage in regular team meetings and case consultations from your home office, ensuring you remain connected with a supportive network of professionals dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our clients. Our operational hours are convenient, with scheduled shifts generally from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each individual.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and strategies for self-care.
• Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans to ensure they align with evolving needs and goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated and holistic care for patients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorder treatments and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our diverse patient population ranges from young adults to seniors, which provides a rich opportunity for clinical engagement across different life stages and circumstances.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationship with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.
• Expertise in various evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and experience in collaboratively working with medical professionals.
• A proven track record of achieving successful patient outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
