Description:

NetCentrics is seeking an experienced Lead ServiceNow Developer to architect, develop, and deliver a comprehensive workflow solution supporting our Business Intelligence (BI) organization. This role will lead the implementation of an end-to-end process that manages internal and external requests, drives structured triage through Demand Management, transitions approved work into Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and integrates with key collaboration and publishing platforms including Confluence and WordPress.


This is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for shaping how the BI organization captures demand, manages project execution, and communicates with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for a unified ServiceNow workflow supporting request intake, demand evaluation, and project lifecycle management.
  • Define and implement integration patterns between ServiceNow, Confluence, and WordPress to support internal collaboration and external communication.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority, guiding development standards, solution design, and platform governance.

Workflow & Module Implementation


Design and implement an end-to-end workflow that:

  • Captures internal and external BI requests through a unified intake process.
  • Routes requests through Demand Management for triage, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Transitions approved demands into PPM for project planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Publishes or synchronizes relevant project information to Confluence and WordPress.

Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including:

  • Demand Management
  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Request Management
  • Custom applications and workflow automation

Develop forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer flows, and integrations to support the full lifecycle.


Integration Development (Confluence & WordPress)

  • Architect and implement REST API integrations between ServiceNow, Confluence, and WordPress.

Automate:

  • Creation and updating of Confluence pages or spaces tied to demands and projects.
  • Publishing of project milestones, status updates, or approved content to WordPress.
  • Synchronization of metadata, documentation, and governance across platforms.
  • Ensure integrations follow enterprise security, authentication, and content governance standards.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with BI leadership, PMO, content management teams, and platform owners to ensure alignment across systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and guide best practices for workflow automation and integrations.

Governance, Quality, & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain development standards, documentation practices, and integration governance.
  • Ensure all solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and performance requirements.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and deployment activities across ServiceNow and integrated platforms.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline collaboration, documentation, and external communication through automation.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve user experience across ServiceNow, Confluence, and WordPress.
  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap for BI workflow optimization and platform maturity.

Required Qualifications

  • Fullscope TS/SCI
  • 5–8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including leadership of complex implementations.
  • Strong expertise with Demand Management, PPM, and workflow automation.
  • Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with collaboration or CMS platforms (Confluence, WordPress, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, authentication models (OAuth, Basic Auth), and integration security.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, and UI customization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITBM/PPM).
  • Experience with Confluence API, WordPress REST API, and content governance workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
