Job Summary:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a core technical contributor on an agile team, designing and delivering full-stack features that enhance agent workflows and customer outcomes, while ensuring the reliability and scalability of technology products.
Responsibilities:
β€’ Design and deliver end-to-end full-stack features that improve agent workflows and customer outcomes using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern user interface frameworks
β€’ Build secure, high-quality production services and user experiences, and apply sound engineering practices to ensure maintainability and performance
β€’ Lead technical design discussions and drive solution architecture across backend and frontend components, balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability
β€’ Implement automation and proactive monitoring to reduce recurring issues and improve the operational stability and resiliency of the platform
β€’ Review code, provide actionable feedback, and raise engineering standards through testing discipline, design patterns, and continuous improvement
β€’ Partner with product managers, designers, data and machine learning partners, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions aligned to business needs
β€’ Evaluate third-party solutions and integration approaches, and make recommendations that fit enterprise architecture, security, and reliability expectations
β€’ Identify technical risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and communicate progress and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
β€’ Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
β€’ 5+ years of experience building and delivering full-stack web applications in enterprise environments
β€’ Advanced proficiency in Java and experience building services with Spring and RESTful application programming interfaces
β€’ Strong experience building modern web user interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
β€’ Experience designing distributed systems using messaging and caching technologies such as Kafka and Redis
β€’ Proficiency with SQL and hands-on experience with relational database design and development
β€’ Experience building delivery automation, including continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
β€’ Strong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and automated testing using frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, or Playwright
β€’ Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery, influence design decisions, and collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred:
β€’ Experience with micro-frontend architecture patterns and large-scale single-page application design
β€’ Experience building and operating cloud-based applications aligned to twelve-factor principles
β€’ Experience with Amazon Web Services, including ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and ElastiCache
β€’ Familiarity with Python and applied generative artificial intelligence patterns (for example, agent-based workflows)
β€’ Strong mentoring skills, including coaching engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and problem solving
