Job description

One of our direct clients in banking industry is looking to add a Seasoned WordPress Developer for a 1 yr contract role. This person is expected to work 4 days onsite in Downtown Chicago and 1 day remote. This role also requires a 2 step Background screening process.

Qualifications

The Lead Web Content Analyst develops and executes digital content strategies by analyzing moderate to highly complex business needs and leading the delivery of web solutions that enhance customer experience and drives business outcomes. This position is considered advanced level and performs work of moderate to high complexity. The incumbent works under general supervision and may lead some efforts autonomously. This job does not have any direct reports but may lead the work of junior staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead moderately complex website projects including project management, documentation, and commitment to innovation, quality, schedules and budget, while also adhering to bank and system methodologies.
  • Execute installation, configuration, and administration of the content management system and associated web technologies, including identification of plugins for new features or expanding capabilities.
  • Acts as strategic advisor to cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, developers, security and architects–proactively troubleshooting complex problems and implementing innovative solutions that drive measurable improvements.
  • Codes, debugs, tests, deploys, and documents moderate to highly complex website enhancements and deployments.
  • Analyzes accessibility, usability and user experience design for FRFS online public platforms by measuring how effective, efficient, and satisfying each website is to use.
  • Provides technical support in front and back-end web development to enhance digital content experience, user interface elements, email templates, and website landing page designs and optimization.
  • Applies web and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices including designing and creating HTML templates, pages, advertising, and promotional banners.
  • Executes consistent implementation with adherence to security protocols and brand guidelines.
  • Develops contingency plans for websites to deliver mission critical, time-sensitive crisis communications requiring continuous operational readiness.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, web design or in a related field, or commensurate specialized training, certification, or work experience
  • Minimum three years of work experience
Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced skill in WordPress content management systems and WordPress VIP, cascading style sheets, graphics composition, and visualization tools
  • Advanced critical thinking and data reporting skills, such as demonstrated success in creating information architecture and translating data into key-insights with analytical tools and reports
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of user experience (UX)
  • Excellent attention to detail and compliance with business continuity practices, Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Facilitator for the web team according to industry best practices Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrate appropriate use of approved AI resources to support efficient task management Influences key stakeholders on cross-functional technical and business teams, translating complex requirements into clear solutions.
