We have an outstanding Contract position for aCarpenterto join a leading Company located in theWashington, DCsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $35 - $60 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair building woodwork and equipment: bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, drywall, patching, painting, ceiling tle replacement, carpentry support, small projects and repairs, job site prep / cleanup , material handling, basic repairs, building protection, framing, and assisting skilled trades.
  • Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions.
  • Use a variety of carpentry hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
  • Make shop computations to determine work dimensions and select necessary materials.
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality maintenance services that enhance client operations and safety.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • At least six years of hands-on commercial carpentry construction and repair.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Commitment to safety, service, and teamwork; integrity and a positive outlook.
  • Diagnose issues, propose solutions, and execute repairs efficiently.
  • Collaborate comfortably with team members, supervisors, and site contacts.
