Position Summary

As a Production Team Member in our Wood Shop, you will manufacture custom wood packaging products by cutting, assembling, and finishing components according to customer specifications and quality standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Build custom wood crates, pallets, and packaging products according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Safely operate woodworking equipment, including:
    • Table saws
    • Chop saws
    • Band saws
    • Radial arm saws
    • Drill presses
    • Nail guns
    • Staple guns
    • Forklifts (training provided if needed)
  • Accurately measure materials using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in other production departments as business needs require.
Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Manufacturing, production, assembly, woodworking, construction, or carpentry experience (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to learn and accurately read a tape measure (proficiency expected within 60 days; testing provided)
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and wood shop environment
  • Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and criminal history screening
