We are seeking a hands-on, patient volunteer to lead a Basic Automotive Maintenance Education Class for single parents in our community.

This class will focus on practical skills that help participants feel confident and safe when it comes to vehicle care, such as:

  • Understanding dashboard warning lights
  • Checking and changing fluids (oil, coolant, washer fluid)
  • Tire care (pressure, rotation basics, changing a flat)
  • Basic troubleshooting and when to seek professional help
  • How to avoid common auto repair scams

  • Format: In-person or via Zoom (in-person preferred for demonstrations, but not required)
  • Audience: Single parents with varied experience levels
