Position Overview
The Pharmacy Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees the day-to-day Accounts Receivable operation while ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, cash posting, and insurance account management.
This position partners closely with Billing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Pharmacy Operations to maximize reimbursement, improve collections, and support efficient revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Accounts Receivable Supervisor - What You'll Do:
  • Supervise daily Accounts Receivable operations
  • Oversee pharmacy cash posting activities
  • Manage insurance account billing and follow-up
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and collection performance
  • Develop collection goals and strategies
  • Review aging reports and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Set up and maintain insurance plans within the pharmacy system
  • Work closely with the Billing Manager and Quality Assurance Analyst
  • Support third-party insurance billing activities
  • Assist with year-end processes and third-party audits
  • Identify workflow improvements that increase efficiency and reimbursement
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external partners

Qualifications
Pharmacy Accounts Receivable Supervisor - What We're Looking For:
Required
  • Minimum 5 years of Long-Term Care Pharmacy billing, healthcare Accounts Receivable, or healthcare reimbursement experience
  • Experience with:
    • Pharmacy billing
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Insurance collections
    • Cash posting
    • Medicaid billing
    • Medicare billing
    • Third-party insurance reimbursement

Preferred
Experience with:
  • Sage
  • Net-Rx
