Timber Products Company is a leader in diversified wood products manufacturing, sales and transportation. The knowledge, experience and unique skills of our team members have enabled our company to grow - including our most recent addition, a state-of-the-art, Robotics, Dimensional Lumber Mill, where we can produce custom cut, high quality lumber for a variety of different markets. Timber Products Company is seeking team members to join our manufacturing team in Munising, Michigan.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for working as a team to keep veneer/lumber sorted and stacked like a pro, while focused on perfecting accurate piece counts and maintaining top-notch quality standards.
  • Carry out every task focusing on safety first, while also following all federal, state, local and company rules to keep yourself, your team and the workplace running safely and smoothly.
  • Be part of a team that maintains clean and orderly work areas in an effort to focus on safety and streamline productivity
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors in order to learn other positions for potential job advancement.
  • Must be able to bring to the team strength, coordination, stamina, and sharp focus that is needed to tackle hands-on work and keep tasks running safely and smoothly from start to finish.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 18 years of age
  • Requires standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level
  • Proper use and care of all pertinent equipment and tools
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
