Job description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in different production areas as needed and follow the schedule and tasks assigned by your supervisor. Work well as part of a team and learn and retain on-the-job training as you build your skills. Notify your supervisor right away of any equipment or material issues and keep your work area clean and safe. Follow all Northern Contours policies and procedures, track your production against the schedule provided, and take on other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
No prior production experience is required - we'll train you on the job. You should be comfortable with basic math and willing to learn how to use simple handheld measuring tools. A good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter more than experience.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Manufacturing environment which requires precaution, training and safety equipment (including safety glasses, ear plugs, closed toe shoes, gloves, etc.).
  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing job.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to move and handle products without damage to the product.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while staying focused.
  • Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours or more per day, with bending and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
