Primary Responsibilities: As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood design, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings.Specific Duties: Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex structural systems and renovation projectsPerform site observations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structuresWrite clear and concise reportsAssist in the training and professional development of EIT'sEffectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractorsKeep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations Champion TSP Personal Qualities:Able to both lead and collaborate effectively in a team-based environmentStrong commitment to delivering outstanding design solutions and exceptional client serviceExcellent organization and communication skills and the ability to multi-task efficientlyCommitment to TSP's core values: "We Before Me": Prioritizing teamwork and collective success over individual achievements"Design It Like We Own It": Taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of design work"Committed To Our Craft": Demonstrating a strong dedication to professional excellenceEducation/Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration Registered as a Professional Engineer Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred
