EVENT OVERVIEW

Gibson Energy is pleased to host Next Gen Women in Energy: Career Discovery Day, an in-person career exploration event for up to 10 women undergraduate students interested in learning more about career opportunities in the energy sector.

This half-day event is designed to provide meaningful exposure to Gibson Energy's business, senior leaders, and future career pathways. Participants will gain insight into the skills, experiences, and opportunities that support success in energy, while building connections with leaders and hiring managers across the organization.

THE EXPERIENCE

  • Attend a networking luncheon with senior management
  • Gain insight into Gibson Energy's operations and strategy through presentations from senior leaders
  • Engage in interactive sessions focused on Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Commercial & Energy Marketing and Technology
  • Connect directly with hiring managers
  • Attend a closing networking reception

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program for the 2026/2027 school year
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Economics or Technology (interest in Gen AI)
  • Must be available to attend the in-person event on September 29, 2026

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

  • This event is part of Gibson Energy's Next Gen Hiring Strategy. Participants may be considered for:

    • Employment opportunities including fixed-terms, co-op placements and/or new graduate roles
    • $2,000 Gibson Energy Next Gen Scholarship opportunity
      • Employment with Gibson Energy is not a requirement to be selected for the scholarship
