Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for clients dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, developing personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and case managers, to implement integrated care strategies for optimal client outcomes.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individual and group, using evidence-based practices to engage clients effectively, adapting approaches to accommodate diverse backgrounds and varying degrees of mental health challenges.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with their recovery goals.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, fostering a supportive network and encouraging active participation in the treatment process.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory standards to promote trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with women who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and cultures, providing an opportunity for the counselors to enhance their cultural competence and adapt their strategies accordingly. Qualifications
  • A valid and current professional license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are highly preferred.
  • Proven skills in mental health counseling with a strong grasp of evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport, motivate clients, and foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance use disorders are especially encouraged to apply.
