Responsibilities
The Radiological Technologist Supervisor is the lead mammogram technologist. This position is responsible for working with the radiologists, assisting them with patient care issues as well as overseeing the technical staff and tech assistants. Specializes in the Quality and Control of all the mammogram equipment and has increased technical experience and procedural proficiency. Maintains high quality mammography skills and performs some procedures. Demonstrates excellence and stewardship while adhering to departmental and hospital policies, procedures and goals.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Degree in RT (R)(M)
• 5 years in mammography
License Requirements:
• Must be licensed in the State of Maryland
Certification Requirements:
• ARRT annual renewal for RT license
