  • Inspect and audit all finished goods bundles for proper profile identification, cut length, piece count, customer name and destination if we have same customer in multiple locations, date bundle was packed.
  • Work with production control/customer service to ensure orders are completed and ready for the assigned ship date per the load list. Communicate any shortages prior to shipment date.
  • Manage stock material to ensure customer service is aware of what is available to apply to open orders prior to creating an extrusion order. Stock inventory is a weekly task.
  • Keep the finished goods/shipping area organized by customer and make sure loads are properly staged. 
  • Hold material handlers accountable for deviations from processes.
  • Any remaining time should be utilized to assist packing and/or cut-back with production related activities. Also, inventory packing supply items weekly.   
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
  • Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process
  • Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
  • Handling returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication.
  • Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance
  • Conveying purchasing requirements and keeping data on the availability of products in short supply
  • Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products

  Skills & Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to achieve forklift and crane certifications (prior forklift and side loader experience a plus).
  • Manufacturing experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred.
  • Must be available for nights and weekends with occasional overtime.
  • Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to always comply with safety policies.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Attend all safety and production trainings.
  • You will need to be reliable and punctual.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Ability to work on the production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that are repetitive.
  • Ability to do work requiring standing with frequent stooping, bending, reaching overhead and sufficient manual dexterity to perform all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to lift, move parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts primarily standing.
