Position Overview: The Game Night Videographer is responsible for shooting game action at all Capital City Go-Go games during the season. This position will be an excellent shooter with an eye for basketball highlights. Ready to put your videography skills to work in professional sports? We'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities:
  • Act as the team videographer for every Capital City Go-Go home game, recording and tagging clips for use in highlight reels, advertisements, and other video production requirements.
  • Film post-game press conferences with coaches and players following select games.
  • Film selected fan segments and atmosphere shots around CareFirst Arena as requested.
  • Provide videography for games, practices, and Wizards events, including audio capture.
  • Shoot video with a social-media-first approach.
  • Optimize new and existing content with the goal of driving performance on social platforms.
  • Assist with game day and night coverage of all home games as well as team events, including gathering video content.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in sports videography, with basketball videography experience preferred.
  • Understanding of social media videos and shooting techniques for social media.
  • Experience content editing with Adobe Premiere a plus.
  • Ability to work all home games on the Capital City Go-Go schedule.
  • Knowledge of cameras and videography techniques, with a preference for filming live sports and Sony cameras.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills & organization skills.
  • Ability to work creatively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 USD/hour
