Job description

This is a part-time position that will follow a Monday-Friday, 11:00AM to 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time schedule.Material Handlers are responsible for moving, organizing, pulling orders, loading/unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse merchandise in a timely, accurate manner to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and support the Company’s business. Job Responsibilities
  • Pulls orders and arranges shipments of  parcels through Warehouse Management System (WMS); under supervision, determines the method of shipment.
  • Accurately picks and packs items for shipping.
  • Unloads and stores shipments.
  • Prepares delivery orders.
  • Unloads and breaks down freight to meet delivery schedules.
  • Unloads and breaks down freight onto pallets.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Operates multiple style lift trucks or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
  • Performs maintenance tasks including:  cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and machines.
  • Cross-trains in additional responsibilities.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management
  • Drives company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials, including occasional transport
    across international borders, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and
    company procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of previous warehouse/maintenance experience 
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport
  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Able to travel to and from Canada 

Preferred Qualifications 

  •   Experience operating a forklift/Electric Pallet Jack 
The hourly range of compensation for this position is $15.75-$20.00 based on education and experience. *To ensure competitive and equitable compensation, pay may vary based on the candidate’s regional market compensation rates.
