As a Software Engineer III at Walmart, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement through coding, testing, and deployment. You will manage project requirements, ensure adherence to quality and security standards, and support business needs by providing technical guidance. The position requires strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver reliable, high-quality software within established timelines.
  About the team:
The SCILS Implementation team manages the deployment and ongoing support of Walmart’s warehouse management system. This includes gathering requirements, procuring infrastructure, deploying the WMS and integrated applications, maintaining system integrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to technical standards and security protocols. The team collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Members apply strong technical skills in platform design, API development, and continuous delivery to support business operations effectively. The team fosters a disciplined approach to development, testing, and maintenance, ensuring high-quality and secure application performance aligned with Walmart’s objectives.
