Job description

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Pay: $19.64
Shift: To be discussed
Location: Chicago, IL
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our NorthPoint Fresh food logistics client to start immediately at $19.64/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors/drivers in a friendly, timely manner
  • Sign drivers in and notify the warehouse for dock assignment
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to prepare shipping and receiving documents accurately
  • Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers (if applicable)
  • Maintain WMS scheduler, schedules, and visual aids for traffic flow
  • Verify paperwork with drivers and release trucks upon completion
  • Complete receipts, including pallet counts, for loads
  • Ensure product verification and accurate data entry in the computer system
  • Notify management of no-shows or unscheduled arrivals
  • Arrange outbound pickups and reschedule late or missed trucks
  • Follow HACCP and SQF requirements for food safety and quality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
