Job Summary:
BJ’s Wholesale Club is powered by over 30,000 team members making a meaningful impact daily. The DC Systems Analyst will ensure the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is functional, maintain system hardware and software, and provide training to team members.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) is functional during operations with respect to:
• Maintenance of WMS system hardware and software
• System enhancement support through user testing and system parameter definition
• Style files maintenance relating to hazardous materials and other distribution center characteristics
• Providing WMS system training to distribution center team members.
• Responsible for maintaining all computer equipment, both hardware and software, pertaining to the WMS system.
• Position involves maintaining locations and all system parameters in conjunction with the distribution operations.
• Provide support for system enhancements. (i.e., user testing, defining parameters to WMS system.)
• Maintain style files in relation to hazardous material and other distribution characteristics. (i.e., cube weight, pilfer-able, stackable.)
• Perform WMS system training to distribution center team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Distribution/Transportation.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma, preferred Associates Degree in Business Management or Information Technology.
• System maintenance and programming experience.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise and dust.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift and sit for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work on powered equipment when needed.
