Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Materials Supervisor to contribute to the execution of our material flow processes. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating material movement within warehouse and production including issuing, and maintaining material information both systematically in the ERP system and physically in the warehouse and production operation to ensure inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-passed work environment, have excellent critical thinking skills and will play a pivotal role in shaping and shaping and operating PDW's manufacturing materials operations.
What You'll Do
  • Execution of PDW's production inventory supply program including receiving, kitting, kanban, cycle count, and physical inventory process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of physical and systemic inventory with root cause analysis of discrepancies and permanent corrective actions.
  • Responsible for defining and implementing stringent inventory controls governing incoming and outgoing supply.
  • Responsible for material flow within overall production operation.
  • Oversee, support, and coordinate kitting materials to support production in a multi-assembly operation
  • Oversee, support, and coordinate repacking incoming materials and material storage organization
  • Coordination of receive and put-away processes into ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Coordination of cycle counting maintaining accurate inventory and transactions
  • Demonstrate high proficiency with company's ERP system (NetSuite) for kitting, receiving, and system transactions
  • Collaboration with external and internal vendors to resolve paperwork discrepancies to support transactions and receiving process with an advanced understanding of ERP with an emphasis on material movement and consumption.
  • Ownership of cycle counting maintaining accurate inventory and transactions with ability to analyze material discrepancies and resolve in ERP system with root cause analysis along with critical thinking skills when problem solving inventory accuracy issues
  • Support identification of planning risks such as shortages or schedule delays to ensure an accurate Clear To Build signal and escalate as required

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse or materials management.
  • Experience with ERP systems for inventory movement, controls, data analytics, and metric reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of HAZMAT and Customs paperwork is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems required; NetSuite WMS experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated reliability, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and system commitment
  • Preferred experience with operating forklift and certification

Preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse or materials management.
  • Inventory Management/Controller background
  • Super User background in NetSuite ERP systems for inventory movement, controls, data analytics, and metric reporting.
  • Forklift Certifications.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the following:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly, with occasional heavier lifting
  • Employee must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, as well as push, pull, and maneuver carts and packages
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for handling
  • Loading and unloading materials manually, pallet jack, or forklift
  • Capability to safely operate powered equipment including forklift

Work Environment
This position includes the following:
  • Operates primarily in a professional, climate-controlled office, warehouse, manufacturing and shipping environment. At times, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety gloves, goggles, and hearing protection may be required.
  • Employee will also work outdoors to load and receive shipments, where they may be exposed to the elements, including heat, rain, and cold.
  • Standard hours are Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with occasional overtime as operational needs may require.

Total Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $90,000 - $95,000 annually and this position may be eligible for bonuses and performance-based pay. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
If this position can be performed remotely from multiple states, the listed range reflects the typical pay range applicable to the U.S. locations where we operate.
