Job description

Lead development and optimization of operational processes, facility designs, and technology solutions supporting customer implementations and operational excellence
Translate customer requirements into scalable, efficient, and financially viable process and facility designs
Conduct cross-functional process reviews with Operations, IT, and Engineering to identify gaps across physical processes, WMS capabilities, automation, and systemic solutions
Evaluate operational designs, productivity rates, profitability, cost model impacts, and assumptions through data and sensitivity analysis
Develop detailed process flows and technical documentation covering WMS and automation software architecture, system integrations, payload streams, automation flows, and operational workflows
Partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, Corporate Compliance, PMO, Finance, and Legal teams to execute process design solutions and resolve implementation challenges
Lead gap analysis, establish quality standards, identify resources, and ensure issues are assigned, addressed, and closed
Provide process design and operational expertise to launch and local site teams during site launches, peak periods, and recovery situations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 10-12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, process engineering, industrial engineering, or supply chain operations
  • 8-10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years with a Master's degree; or 5 years of business experience with a PhD
  • 3-5 years of experience with new site implementations, operational process design, facility design, or related engineering projects
  • Experience translating customer requirements into operational processes, facility designs, and scalable logistics solutions
  • Strong knowledge of WMS capabilities, process design, automation integration, and logistics technology
  • Experience developing process flows and technical documentation communicating operational, IT system, automation, and integration processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and technical writing skills
  • Lean Certification (Lean Six Sigma or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with Blue Yonder WMS, TMS, data analytics tools, Microsoft Visio, and automation software preferred
  • Experience in industrial engineering, systems design, or process engineering preferred
  • Knowledge of FTZ, CTPAT, bonded warehousing, and international shipping operations preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, IT, PMO, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Compliance teams
  • Ability to support operational teams during site launches, peak periods, and recovery situations
