Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an IT EPIC Principal Application Analyst, you will be a central, high-level expert designing, building, and optimizing critical EPIC applications to ensure seamless integration and functionality. You will play a vital role in translating complex needs into robust IT solutions.
Every day, you will lead complex EPIC projects, analyze system functionality, and develop innovative solutions for enhanced user experience and efficiency. You will also provide advanced troubleshooting, serve as a top-tier subject matter expert, and strategically collaborate with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive EPIC certification and experience, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and a profound commitment to healthcare IT excellence. You will demonstrate advanced communication and leadership, thriving in a fast-paced environment optimizing technology for patient care.

  • Assists in day-to-day planning, operations, and problem-solving to aid the team in obtaining defined Key Performance Indicators and service levels.
  • Helps in developing the team to ensure consistency in overall productivity and performance. Monitors individual performance and suggests areas for additional professional development as necessary.
  • Organizes planning of resources inclusive of allocation and prioritization of workload. Assists in defining work deadlines and coordinates completion of activities.
  • Identifies new opportunities for process, system, and staff improvements. Encourages critical problem solving and independent thinking amongst the team.
  • Operates as a change agent for the team by generating excitement for new initiatives and projects.
  • Provides continual mentorship of staff in areas of technical and professional development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Other in related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree;, upon hire and
  • 5 years working with systems analysis programming/design, including 5 years within Epic Healthy planet platform; and
  • 7 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry
  • EPIC Healthy Planet Certification
