Job description

Responsibilities Manage and implement various quality assurance programs in the field, ensuring all external and internal requirements are met prior to product turnover to the customer. Review documentation and reporting, assist in the creation of project QC documents and forms. Review and update standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals. Identify, document, track, and ensure the repair or replacement of all nonโ€conforming work in designated areas of responsibility. Assist with producing reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends. Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections. Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors. Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures. Participate in the development of specifications to ensure quality control. Instruct vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies. Make customer site visits. Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures. Confer with other departments to define client requirements and expectations. Coordinate the testing and inspection activities of independent testing and inspection agencies. Participate in applicable inspections and tests. Perform followโ€up inspections and examinations as necessary to ensure continued compliance with the contract documents. Help identify and mitigate items that may arise from providing and installing nonโ€basis of design equipment. Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment. Document leak testing, obtain proper signโ€offs from the client, verify materials meet requirements, complete job turnover packages, review client engineering standards, reference ASME codes for compliance, inspect completed welds, perform inโ€process examination of construction activities, witness and inspect pressure tests, punch complete systems prior to turnover, work with foreman to identify field correction issues, prepare requests for site NDE services, review and accept inspection reports, test welders onโ€site for qualification and continuity management, inspect boltโ€up joints for proper gaskets and correct boltโ€up, witness and verify torqued components. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. 5+ years prior experience in quality control or quality assurance. 5+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office. 5+ years and inโ€depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. Benefits & Compensation Pay Range: $97,733.37 - $146,600.05 (actual salary will vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
