Are you a seasoned program manager ready to make a significant impact on environmental sustainability? We're seeking a dynamic and driven individual to lead critical initiatives focused on emissions management and environmental compliance. In this role, you won't just manage projects; you'll be instrumental in shaping the environmental footprint of a major organization, driving proactive improvements and ensuring long-term compliance and optimization. You will independently manage the full lifecycle of programs that reach beyond your immediate team, developing systems to proactively identify improvements and drive future optimizations, including change management and performance metrics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Independently author program charters addressing scope, timeline, objectives and key results (OKRs), resourcing, and risks/dependencies.
* Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders and effectively manage escalations.
* Triage technical issues and assess the impact of technical escalations across various teams.
* Design and deliver predictable program communication plans tailored by stakeholder type.
* Execute change management requirements, including developing rollout plans and conducting impact analysis.
* Maintain project trackers and status reports while identifying and executing program tasks.
* Define program governance structures for mitigations, postmortems, and escalations.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* **Program Management Proficiency:** Demonstrated expertise in planning, execution, and governance within a technical environment.
* **Stakeholder Management:** Proven ability to build trusted relationships and manage expectations of cross-functional stakeholders.
* **Organizational Change Management:** Experience in developing and monitoring change management rollout plans.
* **Technical Judgment:** Proficiency in making sound technical assessments and triaging complex technical issues.
* **Education:** Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or a related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management.
