Job description

Location: MO-SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles

Employment Type: PRN

Position Overview

This role involves conducting computerized tomographic examinations to assist in diagnosing illnesses and injuries, adhering to protocols set by radiologists. Candidates must be proficient in at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary interventions, watchman procedures, extremity work for operating room planning, ablations, or fiducial placements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications in compliance with established practice standards and relevant regulations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any unusual activity, and suggest updates to protocols as necessary.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QualificationsEducation

Completion of a program in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy is required.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary.
