Description
Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Mission Critical (Data Center) Low Voltage Installer in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. You could earn between $135,000 and $225,000 per year by traveling with our company. After that commitment is completed, candidates must be willing to travel to other Data Center locations.
This position is open to both experienced installers and those new to the trade. For entry level installers, we have a formal training program designed to help teach the trade. These individuals should be team-oriented and bring a positive, honest, and detail-focused approach to their work. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. In this role, they will represent Kidwell directly on job sites and with customers, helping ensure every interaction reflects a high-quality experience

What You'll Do-
  • Assists and reports to Senior Cabling Technician in the installation and diagnostic maintenance of premise cabling equipment according to contract and customer needs
  • Responsible for installation and testing of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables
  • Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures
  • May be responsible to conduct terminations
  • Learn and retain a basic working knowledge of company sales products
  • Will work with Telecommunications Technicians on projects as needed

Do You Have What it Takes?
  • Candidates preferably will possess an Associate's Degree from a qualified Electrical or similar Technology program, or have a minimum of some experience in the field
  • Candidates must possess a current State of Nebraska Electrical License or apply for one upon employment
