Job Summary:

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Replenishment Associate to support finished goods and warehouse operations at our Billerica, MA facility. This role is responsible for the daily put-away of finished goods and raw materials, as well as picking materials needed to support instrument manufacturing. The Replenishment Associate will operate various types of warehouse equipment, maintain accurate inventory locations, and provide backup support for Order Processor and Shipper responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Put away finished goods received internally or from other Nova Biomedical facilities.
  • Put away received raw materials in the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Pick work orders to support instrument manufacturing.
  • Pick stock transport orders for Waltham raw materials stored at 4 Enterprise Road.
  • Pick material issue transactions for internal Nova Biomedical customers.
  • Perform cycle counts and support accurate inventory management.
  • Identify and report inventory location discrepancies.
  • Complete general warehouse duties and operate specialized warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Provide backup support to Order Processors and Shippers as needed.
  • Pick international and domestic customer orders using handheld scanners and automated picking systems.
  • Fill internal requisitions, including requests from R&D, Reagents, Quality Control, and Technical Services.
  • Maintain location integrity and follow FIFO practices when picking, moving, or storing materials.
  • Check customer orders for accuracy before shipment.
  • Package orders to support safe, damage-free shipment and meet customer-specific requirements.
  • Generate bills of lading for truck shipments and record seal numbers as required.
  • Load international and domestic customer shipments when freight carriers arrive and obtain driver signatures for shipments.
  • Assist with training and developing new employees.
  • Apply practical problem-solving approaches to warehouse and inventory issues.
  • Compile and maintain accurate and organized warehouse records.
  • Proactively recommend ideas that support continuous improvement.
  • Provide departmental coverage during employee absences and vacations.
  • Collaborate with Distribution management, supervisors, group and team leaders, Distribution personnel, and Order Services.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management that are relevant to the position.

Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, delivery, or related work.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience operating specialized equipment commonly used in warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems preferred.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of domestic shipping systems, including UPS WorldShip, FedEx Café, and USPS, preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Quality System requirements preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately and maintain organized records.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to work with limited supervision.

Targeted Salary Range: $22 - $23 an hour
