We are currently seeking a Mechanic for our Sayre, PA location.
PURPOSE:
Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or field in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repairs and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, interpretation of equipment manuals, and training/mentoring.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment; reviews equipment status with operational personnel and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of trucks and equipment.
  • Inspects, repairs, maintains, and makes recommendations and performs modifications to functional parts of a variety of equipment and machinery. Diagnoses maintenance requirements on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, differentials, electrical circuits, AC power plant, hydraulic systems, and chassis through diagnostic aids, inspections, and interpretation of equipment reports with assistance. Disassembles, overhauls, and replaces worn parts on equipment as required.
  • Trouble shoots on conventional and specialized equipment and control with assistance
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • May perform gas and arc welding as required in routine maintenance.
  • Assists in training and mentoring maintenance technician trainees; orients operators in maintenance procedures and field maintenance for specialized equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Less than High School Education
Work Experience: 0-2 years
Related Experience:
  • Mechanical skills should include, but are not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of trucks, cranes and related equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Work Experience: 2-4 years
Related Experience:
  • Relevant experience as maintenance technician in oil and gas industry
  • Class A CDL
  • Current HSE certifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Precise hand/eye coordination: Constantly
Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Frequently
Operation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: Occasionally
Lifting/pushing objects weighing over: 50 lbs: Frequently
