What you will enjoy doing*
- You will perform work safely following Linde's policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below) and automatic control valves
- Calibrate and maintain pneumatic, electronic, and process control instrumentation, including analytical equipment such as IR and Gas Chromatograph analyzers
- Further, you will use control logic drawings to troubleshoot process control systems and document repairs in the CMMS system
- Schedule and execute maintenance for electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, motor control, and analytical systems
- Climb ladders, stairways, and operate man-lifts for elevated maintenance while ensuring safety and instructing contract personnel on compliance
- Be knowledgeable of switchgear control systems and functionally rack breakers in and out or switch them
- Read, interpret, and maintain, as needed, P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with SOPs, QA, and MOC policies
- Learn to operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. Support Operations as needed
- Also, monitor process performance and make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align with the specified norm
What makes you great
- You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent apprenticeship is preferred
- Bring at least three years of experience in process control instrumentation
- Moreover, you demonstrate proficiency with a variety of instrumentation and electrical hand tools, meters, and calibration equipment
- Possess working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors
- You are able to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams accurately
- Exhibit strong organizational and planning abilities to manage tasks effectively
- Apply strong computer skills to support technical and administrative duties
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
