This is a hands-on role for an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who can set up and operate Haas vertical mills with limited supervision. You’ll produce both one-off and production parts while working from engineering drawings, CNC programs, and customer specifications.

Metalcraft continues to invest in modern machining and inspection technology, including approximately 10 Haas CNC mills, 10 Haas CNC lathes, Mitsubishi wire EDM equipment, and a Hexagon Global CMM. You’ll join a well-equipped shop where machining knowledge, problem-solving, and quality workmanship matter.

  • Set up and operate Haas CNC vertical mills
  • Perform 4-axis machining operations
  • Machine one-off and production parts to print
  • Select tooling and establish work offsets
  • Set up fixtures and verify workholding
  • Read and understand G-code and M-code

Required:

  • At least five years of CNC machining experience
  • Hands-on CNC mill setup and operation experience
  • Experience operating Haas CNC equipment
  • Ability to read and understand G-code and M-code
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and CNC programs
  • Knowledge of tooling, workholding, offsets, feeds, speeds, and machining fundamentals
  • Experience producing both one-off and production parts
  • Ability to inspect work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related tools
  • Working knowledge of shop math
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred:

  • 4-axis vertical milling experience
