Hours 7am-3:30pm
JOB SUMMARY : The Wire Cutter cuts wire and cable with the use of machines, and ensures the accuracy of the cuts.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:
  • Loads, measures, cuts, spools, and bundles wires and cables appropriately for the job orders.
  • Fills production orders according to the type, length, and size requested.
  • Verifies that all equipment is working properly.
  • Escalate issues to production supervisor as needed.
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
  • Other duties as required.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Employee works under general supervision.
  • Employee has little or no decision-making responsibility.
  • The employee has little or no impact on the decisions of others.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Ability to follow proper safety protocols.
  • Position does not require any previous experience working with office software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • No formal education is required.
  • 0-1 year experience in a manufacturing setting.
