As a Shear Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that materials are cut to exact specifications. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate shear machines to cut materials according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shear equipment.
  • Monitor the quality of cut materials and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Shear Operator or in a similar role within a machine shop.
