Position: Wire Harness Assembly Technician 
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire 
Location: Kirkland
Pay: Up to $28 per hour (DOE) 
Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6AM-2:30PM (Overtime as required; occasional Saturdays based on production needs)


Job Details

This is a full-time position supporting manufacturing operations by assembling, inspecting, and testing wire harnesses used in electrical systems. We are seeking candidates with aerospace industry experience and hands-on wire harness assembly expertise.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with wiring schematics, soldering, and precision assembly in a production environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards are essential.


Responsibilities
  • Assemble wire harnesses by bundling and binding wires using cable ties, sleeves, lacing, and conduits per specifications
  • Perform soldering, wire stripping, crimping, terminations, and connector assembly
  • Inspect completed harnesses and perform functional testing; troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed
  • Organize and label wires using markers, labels, and tie-wraps for proper identification
  • Set up and operate wire assembly tools and equipment
  • Insert cables into protective tubing and apply sealants as required
  • Follow AS9100 standards, ESD precautions, and company safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Support cross-training efforts and assist with other assembly tasks as directed

Qualifications / Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Prior hands-on experience in wire harness or cable assembly REQUIRED
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Knowledge of electrical concepts and safety practices
  • Proficiency with soldering, crimping, and small component assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Physical Demands
  • Work primarily in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Frequent repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Regular lifting up to 20 lbs
