RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble mechanical systems and structures based on technical drawings and 3D CAD models.
  • Assemble and install prototypes to support research and development activities.
  • Build electrical power distribution panels and electromechanical control panels.
  • Fabricate cable assemblies and wire harnesses to required specifications.
  • Route, organize, and secure cables for durability, reliability, and neatness.
  • Perform light fabrication work (e.g., drilling, cutting, manual machining).
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of systems at client sites.
  • Follow internal quality assurance and documentation procedures.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma or vocational diploma in electromechanics, mechanics, manufacturing, or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience in a professional setting.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in a workshop environment.
  • Strong fine-motor skills and manual dexterity.


SKILLS

  • Ability to assemble systems based on mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
  • Strong aptitude and comfort with mechanical assembly and precision work.
