Job description

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Snowmobile and Snow Coach Guides to join our team at Yellowstone Vacations & Two Top Snowmobile Rentals in West Yellowstone, Montana.

Very few people are lucky enough to call Yellowstone their ‘office’ for 3 months in the winter.  In this role, you'll be responsible for driving modified vehicles to give interpretive guided tours throughout Yellowstone National Park.  Safety and guest satisfaction are our top priorities.  You must be able to commit to our entire season (November 30th-March 15th)

Pay $14.00 - $20.00 / hour

What will you do?
  • Transport guests and associates in a safe manner
  • Always maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle
  • Give quality interpretation about Yellowstone knowledge
  • Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules
  • Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on vehicles and report any mechanical or safety problems to management
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of passenger’s census
More about you
  • In depth knowledge of Yellowstone National Park with the ability to speak and communicate well
  • Current Wilderness First Responder Certificate valid through 3/15/2027
  • Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate MCSA-5876 valid through 3/15/2027
  • Certified Interpretive Guide
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving or guiding experience with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive in variable weather conditions
Physical requirements
  • Ability to prepare for and handle sub-zero temperatures for up to 10 hours
  • Must be able to sit for long periods
  • Must be able to stand and bend
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to hear traffic and security radio
  • Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night
