Job description

QC Inspector – PCB Manufacturing

Alpha Circuit is seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our Quality team. The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting printed circuit boards and ensuring products meet customer drawings, specifications, IPC requirements, and Alpha Circuit quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and final inspections of PCBs.
  • Inspect complex multilayer and HDI circuit boards for workmanship and specification compliance.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication notes, and customer specifications.
  • Use inspection equipment such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain product traceability.
  • Identify, document, and control nonconforming product.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
  • PCB manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work with dimensional tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Basic math and computer skills, ability to accurately complete quality records.
  • IPC training or experience with IPC Class 3 requirements is a plus.
